Pollachiuspollachius
An other member of the cod family. Their lateral line is dark and bends over
the chest fin. Pollack spawn in the summer months. Once hatch they grow up
to 1 kg with in the first 4 years. They have been caught over a meter long
and can weigh over 10kg. They spend most of the time on the bottom and are
caught using lures, trawling the bottom and bait. Speaking of bait they eat
prawns, small fish and small lobsters
